Carter wanted to earn some money to buy a Lego set he had his eye on at the store. I told him 10 cents a stick or pinecone in the yard. I thought after 20 or so he'd be done with that business.
Nope! 750 sticks and pinecones later he'd earned enough to buy his Legos. All in one afternoon! I learned my lesson...5 cents a stick from now on! I was very proud of him, though, because he worked so hard and kept track of how much he'd collected.
