learning a second language

Graham speaks a language that cracks me up. Carter is a great interpreter when I need one, but I can usually figure him out.

For a long time when Carter was 2-3 years old he substituted P for F (punny=funny, pish=fish).

With Graham it's G for J (gell0=jello, Goshua=Joshua, gammies=jammies). And, he has the usual ones where his L's and R's sound like W's (wiver=river, Wegos=Legos). One day when we were sledding in our backyard, and Graham and I went flying down pretty far. He exclaimed, "We went all the way to the wiver!" It was so sweet and cute. I love their words and wish I could write them all down!
