One thing I do love about living in northern Minnesota is the fact that I can put pumpkins out September 1, and they will probably last until Thanksgiving. In Oklahoma it's just too hot in September to have them out that early. I will admit 2 rotted (but they were Walmart ones, not from the farmer's market!)
