family social studies project

Carter was studying our town in Social Studies, and they had to build a model of a building in Bemidji. He chose the Sanford center because someone else had already chosen the hospital (he wanted something related to Jon's work).  It was a family project, so he and I did it together.
 The real Sanford Center
Carter painting the darker bricks and some of the windows.
The finished product.  He was really impressed that I found the right leaves for the logo above the wording (thank you dollar store!), and we used glow sticks to replicate the different colored lights that shine at night.
