out on his own

Carter has been allowed to walk across the street (with permission) to play with friends for awhile now. But, it always makes me a tiny bit sad to see him walking so grown-up without me. He was heading over to sled with a neighbor friend, and I thought he looked so cute and big kid trekking though the trees.
