Carter got a set of golf clubs for Christmas, and he loves it! Jon has a single iron in the backyard just to hit the ball around sometimes, and Carter has always liked doing that with Jon. So, grandma and grandpa gave him a kid driver, iron, and putter with jr. bag and glove. It's so cute to watch him put the ball on the tee and swing with determination. Sometimes it takes about 5 strokes to make contact, but he keeps at it! Today while Jon was cleaning up stuff in the yard, Carter got dressed to go out in the cold and hit golf balls.

and you know I'm jealous that his 'getting dressed for the cold' doesn't include boots, snowpants, gloves, 2 sweatshirts and a down coat :)
Totally impressed with the golf! He looks so grown up with the glove...but still SO CUTE...we are going to miss his sweet face and personality when you guys move! Of course we will miss ALL OF YOU and we are so glad for blogland so we can stay in touch by pictures:)
