Lake of the Woods 2009

Aunt Mary Ann and Uncle Bill's cabins are within easy driving distance for us now. So we headed up to the lake for a week.

One of my favorite things to do at the lake--real S'mores. Real ones, not the fake microwave ones. Made my own fire and toasted them outside. It reminds me of my summers at Camp Cimarron :)

Carter spent A LOT of time digging in the sand at the edge of the water, and he got 4 leeches stuck on him in the process.

I gave up making him wear much of anything in the sand. It was a mess to even wear a bathing suit, but I said he had to at least wear underwear!

The wading pool was the popular hang out spot in the yard.
