catepillars

My tomato plants were looking so ugly, and the cold morning (46 degrees) we had recently made them all wilty. So, I decided to throw them away the other morning. Carter found several caterpillars in the plants and decided they needed to live in his treasure drawer. Once again, I had to remind him no living animals or animals that were once living go in the treasure drawer. I did, however, find a jar in the recycle bin that made for a happy caterpillar home. Caterpillar #1 was named "The Very Hungry Caterpillar. #2 is Ted. #3 and #4 are nameless. He's really, really hoping for a cocoon...
