Although the demo part of our remodel drives me nuts at times, Carter is loving it! Our contractor's name is Tom, so Carter will sing, "Tom the Builder..." instead of Bob the Builder. And, Carter knows that if it's noisy during naptime he'll get out of his nap (Graham snoozes through it, no problem!). Also, the guys have let Carter help out on a few things, which is very exciting for a 3 1/2 year old little boy!
Using a magnet to collect nails after they ripped out sub-floor to lay new sub-floor (that was an unexpected surprise this week. The flooring people thought what we had was fine but found out it wasn't ok to use).
Tearing out some drywall to gut the kitchen to the studs. Yup, he's in his jammies! The guys start early, and we're not always dressed when they get here.
