Although Carter has really, really been testing me some lately, he has had a few super sweet quotes.
"Mommy, I love to keep you safe. If your finger was bleeding I would put a band-aid on it. But, they're hard for me because of the sides that stick. But, I'm getting bigger."
"Mommy, if a deer was running toward you to bite you, I would run you upstairs and get a ladder to lock the door so you would be safe!"
